Default Index Fields

Index fields are defined to identify and search the data quickly and efficiently. There are some default index fields associated with data from different content sources like web pages, files, FAQs, and connectors that are pre-defined in every new SearchAssist application. This eliminates the need for manually adding these fields, saving considerable time. 

You can edit or delete these fields, as required, anytime. 

Below is a list of the pre-defined index fields for data from different content sources and the default values of their attributes.
