A good search experience is an essential part of a good user experience. SearchAssist offers a customizable interface both in the user-engagement phase when the user posts queries as well as in the results display phase. 

You can customize the overall search experience using:

• The Search Interface, where the users post queries. You can choose a top-down (traditional search bar) or bottom-up (conversational UI) experience for your end users. 
• You can change the formatting and display of the search results using the Result Templates. 

To customize the search experience, use the configurations in the Search Experience section under the Indices tab.
