In SearchAssist, deployment refers to publishing the application configuration. For example, let us consider that a business user wants to deploy the SearchAssist application on a banking website. For this, the web SDK channels must be configured and enabled. Also, the SDK must be deployed with relevant credentials so that the search users can interact with the SearchAssist application.

Channels – A channel is a connection between communication applications and SearchAssist. For more information, refer to Channels.

Credentials – Credentials are referred to as apps in SearchAssist. SearchAssist allows you to create credentials to configure channels and API scopes. For more information, refer to Credentials.
